Nominated anonymously, and winners of the prestigious ‘NAPA Outstanding Contribution Award, 2022’ - Blesson Thomas, Home Manager and Junior Walker, Activities Co-ordinator at The Fremantle Trust, The Heights were both modest and proud recipients during the virtual awards ceremony on the 10th October. The ceremony was watched by Blesson who regularly leads art classes for residents to enjoy and discover their creative abilities. Junior and Wellbeing colleague Kayleigh Jones, were together in Blesson’s office when they heard the surprising announcement.
Despite not knowing who had nominated them, a recent Carehome.co.uk review from a resident’s relative described The Heights’ Activities and Care Team as “exceptional, keeping everyone entertained and happy” and the beautiful, glass award will be given pride of place, for residents and visitors to The Heights to admire!
