Meet the senior management team:

At The Fremantle Trust, we have a talented, dedicated, professional and caring senior management team who are committed to putting every single person in our care at the heart of all we do. We are extremely proud of our reputation and our services and most importantly our exceptional team of people who continually strive to strengthen and develop our care and support services.

Our team:

Jacqui Roynon
Chief Executive

Jacqui joined The Fremantle Trust as Chief Executive in February 2024 upon the merger with The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT). She joined OSJCT as Director of People in February 2021 following a variety of senior HR jobs across the commercial sector including Tesco and Cable and Wireless, and social care organisations including Scope and Learning Disabilities charity, Hft.

One of Jacqui’s professional passions is promoting the importance of the social care workforce to society and pursuing an ambition to ensure that all colleagues are paid a fair wage which reflects their high levels of skill and expertise. 

As well as a being a mum to two grown up daughters, Jacqui is very keen on sport, especially playing and watching netball.

Caroline Dunagan
Operations Director

Caroline joined The Fremantle Trust in February 2024. She has been Divisional Director at OSJCT for the past 13 years with extensive experience in healthcare and a focus on the patient experience and efficient systems. In her early career Caroline qualified as a registered nurse in 1981 and on leaving the NHS in 1994 her career has been dedicated to operations in the social care sector where she pays a key role in promoting a positive image of the care sector and representing the views of providers and managers across Lincolnshire. Caroline also sits on the Boards of LinCA Workforce Development and Lincolnshire Care Association.

Caroline loves to travel and is inspired to see, taste and try new things.

Karen Southern
Group Finance Director, OSJCT

Karen joined The Fremantle Trust as Chief Financial Officer in February 2024 upon the merger with The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT) and is responsible for ensuring the financial resources and processes are in place to meet the needs of our residents. Karen, a Chartered Management Accountant, joined OSJCT in August 2023 as Finance Director for Special Projects leading on the financial aspects of the merger. She brings significant financial expertise with not-for-profit and commercial roles having previously worked at Macmillan Cancer Support as a Finance Director during a period of significant change in the organisation and prior to this held various senior finance leadership roles in the construction materials industry.

Karen has a passion for balancing sound financial reporting within the environment of care and in addition to her role at Fremantle is a trustee of Home-start Newark which is a charity that supports families with children under five. 

In her spare time Karen enjoys running and hill walking, meeting up with her two sons and caring for her elderly mum.

Barrie Miles
Finance Director

Barrie joined The Fremantle Trust in January 2017 as Deputy Finance Director having previously worked in various financial roles at Nestor Healthcare, Saga Healthcare and Allied Healthcare and then became Finance Director of the Trust in 2018. He has led the funding project to align the majority of roles in the Trust to the Real Living Wage, through improving the commercial arrangements between the Trust and its key stakeholders.

 

He is a keen sports person, especially football and golf and also enjoys going to music concerts. He is also an avid reader, having more time for this now his two children are grown up.

Paul Slade
Head of IT and Digital Transformation

Paul joined the Trust in July 2021. He has over 20 years’ experience with a successful track record in digital transformation in the public and private sectors.

He has worked at the heart of central government’s digital and technology reform programme as a part of the Government Digital Service as well as holding transformation and digital portfolio leadership roles in global and European technology companies.

Paul likes to share his knowledge and experience in digital strategy and transformation, organisational development and change to ensure everyone makes the most of technology to bring the best value and benefits to their work and home lives.  

An Australian born and bred, living with a young family in the UK, interests in DIY, cars, sports (cricket tragic at heart) and the great outdoors.

Chris Honey
Head of Property and Facilities Management

Chris is Head of Property and Facilities Management and is responsible for Facilities Management operations and delivery activities at The Fremantle Trust. He joined the Trust in June 2022 and has held a variety of property and FM roles across a number of sectors including Admiral Insurance, Manpower and Littlewoods Group. He has also held roles on the contractor side for Serco and Interserve in support of outsourced total facilities management services.

Outside of work Chris enjoys family time and watching and playing sport.  He also plays for a local football team in support of local charities.  

Bogumil Cwiklak
Assistant Regional Director

Bogumil joined The Fremantle Trust in February 2024 as Assistant Regional Director. Trained as a General Nurse in Poland in 2004, Bogumil moved to the UK in 2007 where he has successfully held a variety of care, home manager and operations roles at OSJCT. 

Bogumil’s ethos and vision is to ensure that the residents of OSJCT experience a positive environment for themselves and their families.  

When Bogumil is not spending valuable time with his family he follows his passion for cars and motorsports.

Lorraine McGinley
Operations Manager

In 2008, Lorraine was instrumental in setting up the Supported Living Service in Milton Keynes, managing the service from 2008 until 2020 when she took on the role of Operations Manager of Older People Services at The Fremantle Trust. 
 
I am a mother of two children, a son who is a minister, married and has blessed us with two granddaughters,  and a daughter who also works for Fremantle/OSJCT as a supported living worker.    

I love my family and any free time I have is spent with them doing fun things, I also enjoy down time watching action movies, but my secret pleasure is my hot tub!  

 

David Lewis
Operations Manager

David joined Fremantle Trust in June 2023 in the position of Operations Manager for The Trust’s Nursing Homes. 

David is a qualified Nurse and has nearly 50 years’ experience in the Health and Social Care sector. 

David has gained significant experience in commissioning, managerial, clinical, regulatory and operational roles and still regards every day as a “learning opportunity”. 

David places high importance on positive outcomes for the people we care for and support and embraces a culture of engagement and inclusivity which applies to everyone. 

David’s passion is for creating and supporting “capable teams” who share his desire for promoting and providing the highest standards of care to our residents delivered in a truly dignified, respectful and empathetic manner. 

Hayley Wyton
Operations Manager

Hayley joined The Fremantle Trust as Operations Manager in December 2023. 

Previous to this Hayley has worked in healthcare for 30 years, staring as a volunteer in a hospital at 15 and then progressing to an auxiliary nurse, then went onto University to qualify as an Adult Nurse working predominantly as a District Nurse. Over the last 8 years Hayley has worked as a National Operations Manager and Regional Manager for the last 8 years working in the adult social care setting. 

Hayley is a mum to a grown-up daughter and enjoys travelling with her husband and family at every opportunity.
