Care Home residents at Chesham Leys took on the role of detective on 13 September as the care team arranged an Agatha Christie day. Residents at the home all became members of the ‘Chesham Leys Unified Enforcement Services’ and came together to solve the case and attempt to rescue kidnapped home manager Marina King who had mysteriously disappeared!

Provided with a case file and evidence, residents went about searching the home for clues, piecing together the case file as they went.

Activity Coordinator Lisamarie was the mastermind behind the Agatha Christie event, she commented: “The event was really unique and proved to be a huge success! The residents absolutely loved it and lots of laughs were had by all. It was a great way to get residents involved and working together to solve clues. Maybe we’ll do it again soon, if there’s another crime committed!”

The case of ‘Missing Marina’ has been closed as fortunately, she was found, safe and well in the Laundry Room tied up by the infamous criminal J.Crook who is now locked await behind bars.
