Two of the sectors hit hardest during the pandemic – entertainment and care homes - are joining forces to put stars of the stage and screen back to doing what they do best – performing to a special audience, the residents of The Fremantle Trust’s Care Homes across Buckinghamshire.
A UK (and World) first - West End Stars and some of the UK’s most talented artists who are part of a unique organisation - Connect2you, will perform for Fremantle Trust residents on completely self-assembled, self-powered and Covid-19 compliant outdoor mobile stages, ensuring that the ‘Show Will Go On”
The Fremantle Trust is committed to ensuring people have an enjoyable and stimulating day, and with “The Big Showtime Tour,” residents and staff will enjoy a superb show, whilst the Trust uses the platform to raise funds to help provide exceptional entertainment all year round.
Chief Executive of The Fremantle Trust, Sara Livadeas, is a strong advocate of great care every day. To this end, The Fremantle Trust have been dedicated to ensuring residents could have visits from their relatives, inside the homes as usual. Sara said: “ As far as I’m concerned, it’s a basic human right for people to be able to visit their loved ones in care and we have every precaution in place to make sure they can do this safely.”

The tour, which premieres at Fremantle Court, Aylesbury on Tuesday 13th October, can also be watched remotely via a live-stream. This means that residents who do not want to leave their room won’t miss out, as we can broadcast directly to them. There’s also the opportunity for friends, relatives and the general public to make a donation to The Fremantle Trust and gain access to the live stream!
