On Valentines Day, Lent Rise House residents were treated to a delightful afternoon tea party, indulging in the spirit of warmth and affection that the day brings.  An array of delicious homemade treats were prepared, including freshly baked jam and cream scones, along with fruit meringues and finger sandwiches.

An afternoon tea party would not be complete without its most essential component, with tea and coffee served aplenty to add to the jovial atmosphere.

To round off the afternoon, residents were treated to a love-themed music performance from singer Gary Allen, adding an extra layer of fun and enjoyment to the afternoon.

Reflecting on the memories that the tea party evoked, Lucy spoke of her fondness of the music performance.  “This reminds me of when I used to go dancing when I was younger, I was good at it, you don’t see people going to dances like they used to now!”

The tea party was ultimately a testament to the enduring spirit of community and appreciation at Lent Rise House.
