Set in pleasant grounds on the edge of a small market town, Icknield Court is a warm and friendly home.
The home is divided into six small community groups ‘Houses’. Each house has its own lounge, dining room, kitchenette and assisted bathroom; every resident has their own private bedroom with en suite shower room.
The home also has several community areas – a large reception on the ground floor with a shop/bar and office space; a communal lounge on the first floor off which is a hairdressing salon, training room and treatment room. The home also has its own large laundry and main kitchen facility. There are two enclosed and safe courtyard style gardens and the home is surrounded by grassy areas with paths which residents can use for walks.
Activities, events and visiting entertainers provide a busy social life for residents. Shopping facilities, doctor's surgeries and local churches are nearby.

Another good thing is they organise coffee mornings and quizzes in the large lounges so residents from different houses can come together."
